Input shaft bearing failure: This fault is characterized by an audible whine or grinding sound that disappears when the clutch pedal is pressed. It can lead to the gearbox oil leaking into the bell housing. 

Differential bearings failure: This fault manifests as more of an audible whine or humming sound when the vehicle is in motion.

Fluid leaks: Low fluid levels can prevent gear engagement, leading to overheating and damage.
